Brand video for owner-operators
Rhythm Productions is an Armstrong, BC video company making brand, YouTube, and social videos for owner-operated businesses across British Columbia and Alberta.
Mike Babott founded Rhythm Productions to help business owners get found and chosen online. He plans and shoots brand videos, YouTube videos, and social content for owner-operators across British Columbia and Alberta. Most of his clients built their business on word of mouth. Rhythm Productions gives them a second way to reach the next customer.
Strategy comes before the camera
Mike spent over a decade as a territory manager before he picked up a camera. He called on shops, distributors, and plants across Western Canada for companies like Parker Hannifin and Lordco. He trained rooms of engineers and technicians. He wrote six-figure proposals.
That background shapes the work. Mike reads what a buyer needs to see before they commit. Every project starts with a question about the business, not a question about the camera.
How a project runs
The first step is a conversation. Mike asks who the customers are, where the work comes from, and what slowed down. He comes back with a plan that names what to shoot, why it matters, and what it costs.
Filming follows that plan. For owners who want a steady presence online, Mike shoots on a set schedule so the videos keep coming after the first one lands.
What Mike shoots
Brand videos, hiring videos, event coverage, and social content. Recent projects include a driver recruitment video for Agri-Trans Services, event coverage for United Way, and a lead generation video for Wood Mountain Naturals.
Work with the Chamber
The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce has hired Rhythm Productions for several projects. Those include promotional videos for community events, a staff protocol video during COVID-19, and tourism videos for the region.
You can watch some of that work on the Chamber’s YouTube channel.
