Dusters Cigar & Mercantile began with a simple idea: to create a welcoming place where people can discover quality cigars, find something they’ll truly enjoy, and feel right at home. Built on small-town values and genuine hospitality, Dusters started as a dream to bring something unique to the community — a shop where quality products, knowledgeable service, and a friendly welcome come first.
About the Owner
Shelley Kiefiuk was born and raised in the Enderby and Armstrong area and has always loved the connection and charm that come with small-town life. After many years working in social work, she felt called to create something different, something that brings people together and simply makes them happy. That vision became Dusters Cigar & Mercantile, a welcoming space built on conversation, community and enjoying the moment.
The name “Dusters” is a tribute to Shelley’s roots: it was what her dad called Western movies while she was growing up, and she later discovered it was what her husband called them too. It felt like the perfect fit for a shop grounded in tradition, warmth and a little bit of Western spirit.
