Celebrating the community support behind Fuel Good Day 2026

Armstrong Regional Co-op's Fuel Good Day raised a reported $2,318 for the 1st Armstrong Scout Group, alongside support for three other regional non-profits.

Thank you to everyone who took part in Armstrong Regional Co-op’s Fuel Good Day on Tuesday, September 15. Across Armstrong, Cranbrook, Salmon Arm and Vernon, an everyday stop at the gas bar helped support local non-profits.

The Armstrong gas bar raised $2,318 for the 1st Armstrong Scout Group, according to Vernon Matters’ September 17 report. The report also lists these results from Armstrong Regional Co-op’s other markets:

  • Salmon Arm: $4,593 for the Eagle Valley Rescue Society
  • Vernon: $12,727 for Special Olympics Vernon
  • Cranbrook: $1,661 for the Cranbrook Kimberley Hospice Society

For Fuel Good Day, Armstrong Regional Co-op committed 10 cents from every litre of gasoline and diesel sold at its gas bars to the local recipient in each market. This year’s campaign also included $2 from each Extreme car wash purchased at participating touchless car washes from September 8 to 15, and 5 cents from each pound of propane sold at locations with filling stations on September 15.

We appreciate Armstrong Regional Co-op for organizing this annual fundraiser and the members and customers who joined in. It’s a welcome example of neighbours supporting the groups that serve their communities.
