Chamber to host 2026 Municipal Election All Candidates Forums
The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce will host three 2026 Municipal Election All Candidates Forums in September in Armstrong.
The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce invites residents, business owners, and community members to attend the 2026 Municipal Election All Candidates Forums in September in Armstrong.
The forums give voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking election in Armstrong and Spallumcheen. Candidates will be invited to share their perspectives on key local issues, discuss their priorities, and respond to questions on topics important to residents and businesses.
Forum dates
- City of Armstrong Council Candidates Forum - September 23, 2026
- City of Armstrong Mayoral Candidates Forum - September 29, 2026
- Township of Spallumcheen All Candidates Forum - September 30, 2026
For the September 23 and September 30 forums, doors open at 5:30 PM and the forums run from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. For the September 29 mayoral forum, doors open at 6:30 PM and the forum starts at 7:00 PM.
The City of Armstrong Council Candidates Forum and City of Armstrong Mayoral Candidates Forum will be held at Centennial Theatre, 3120 Pleasant Valley Rd, Armstrong, BC. The Township of Spallumcheen All Candidates Forum will be held at Odd Fellows Hall, 3005 Wood Avenue, Armstrong, BC.
Citizens are encouraged to come prepared with questions to ask in person at the forums. Questions may also be emailed to [email protected] before the forum, including by anyone who cannot attend in person.
Everyone is welcome. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.
Whether you are a voter looking to make an informed decision, a business owner interested in the future direction of the community, or someone who wants to learn more about the people seeking to represent Armstrong and Spallumcheen, these forums are an opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
