Sparrow Grass Field & Flower is a peaceful Okanagan farm experience in Armstrong with u-pick flowers, seasonal events, a cafe, and space to slow down and enjoy the valley.
Sparrow Grass Field & Flower offers a unique and peaceful Okanagan experience for the entire family. Walk through colourful rows of flowers and build your own bouquet from a variety of fresh and local flowers, enjoy a drink or treat at the cafe, and take in the beautiful valley scenery.
U-pick flowers and experiences
The farm invites visitors to create their own beautiful bouquets and enjoy time together in the flower field. Seasonal experiences include Family Nights, Bloom Days, and Petals & Pastries, along with photo opportunities throughout the farm.
The Sparrow Grass Cafe
Inspired by a love of coffee, summer, and flowers, the Sparrow Grass Cafe serves thoughtfully made drinks and seasonal treats. The cafe makes its syrups in-house from ingredients such as seasonal fruit, warming spices, real vanilla, honey, and maple. Coffee is brewed with Sparrow Grass’s Barn to Bean specialty roast, created in collaboration with Barn to Bean and designed to be enjoyed slowly.
Events and photoshoots
Sparrow Grass Field & Flower hosts seasonal farm events and welcomes photoshoots among the flowers and farm landscape. Contact the farm to inquire about booking a spot for yourself or with your own photographer.
The Roaster’s Garden is coming up on Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sparrow Grass Field & Flower is located at 5050 Knob Hill Rd in Armstrong, a short drive from the surrounding communities:
- 10 minutes from Armstrong
- 20 minutes from Vernon
- 25 minutes from Salmon Arm
- 60 minutes from Kelowna
Farm store hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seasonal visiting hours also include Family Nights on Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m., Bloom Days on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Flowers & Flights on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please follow the farm’s social media channels for current updates. Visitors should bring comfortable shoes that may get muddy, a clean vase or container for flowers, weather-appropriate clothing, and water. Pets are not permitted at the farm.
