Published

Armstrong Toastmasters is hosting six online Speechcraft sessions to build communication and leadership skills. Contact Sheila Procter about joining the program, which began October 6.

Could someone on your team benefit from more confidence in speaking, communication, and leadership? Armstrong Toastmasters Club 2645 is hosting an online Speechcraft program designed to help participants build those skills with support from experienced Toastmasters.

In her October 5 update, organizer Sheila Procter, DTM, reported room for one more participant. The program began October 6, so please contact Sheila directly to confirm whether a place is still available and whether you can join after the first session.

Six sessions via Zoom

The program includes educational presentations, workshops, and participant speeches, hosted by experienced Toastmasters.

  • Format: Online via Zoom
  • First session: Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM
  • Schedule: Six sessions on alternating Tuesday nights, through graduation on December 15, 2026
  • Cost: $175

What the fee includes

The $175 fee covers:

  • All six Speechcraft sessions
  • Educational presentations, coaching, and workshops
  • Permission to attend the intervening Tuesday nights for extra practice
  • Membership in Armstrong Toastmasters from January 1 to March 31, 2027

For comparison, Sheila notes that attending Vernon Toastmasters for the same period would cost $187, without the Speechcraft educational presentations, coaching, and workshops. This comparison is provided by the organizer.
