Downtown Armstrong Facade Improvement Program now open

Property owners and businesses in Downtown Armstrong can now express interest in matching grants of up to $5,000 for visible storefront improvements.

The Downtown Armstrong Facade Improvement Program is now open for expressions of interest.

Funded by ETSI-BC, the Economic Trust of the Southern Interior, the program offers matching grants of up to $5,000 per project for visible improvements to downtown storefronts.

A total of $25,000 is available. Funding is allocated first come, first served.

Eligible work includes exterior painting, signage, awnings, exterior lighting, architectural details, accessibility improvements, and facade cladding.

Projects must be approved before work begins, and approved work must be finished by February 28, 2027.
