Hand out treats, offer a Halloween special, or team up with a downtown business. Join our 19th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat Spooktacular on October 31, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
Calling business owners in Armstrong and Spallumcheen: we’d love to have you join our 19th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat Spooktacular!
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, downtown Armstrong will welcome children 12 and under in costume for an afternoon of Halloween fun. It’s a friendly way to meet local families, welcome people to your business, and help make the afternoon special for our community.
Choose what works for your business
Taking part can be simple. You could:
- Hand out treats to little trick-or-treaters at your storefront.
- Offer a Halloween special or promotion that suits your business.
- Plan a small activity your staff will enjoy hosting.
Choose something that works for you, your team, and your space. A friendly welcome and a little Halloween spirit go a long way!
No downtown storefront? You’re welcome too
If your business is in Spallumcheen or elsewhere outside downtown Armstrong, consider teaming up with a downtown business to take part. Churches and not-for-profit offices are also welcome to host an activity.
Have an idea but aren’t sure where to start? Get in touch with Rhonda and tell her what you have in mind.
One easy step to join
Email Rhonda at [email protected] or call (250) 546-8155.
Tell her your business name, where you plan to participate, and what you’d like to do. That’s a useful starting point for getting your business on the participating list.
The Chamber provides black and orange balloons to mark participating businesses, helping families spot the stops along the route. We’ll also help spread the word about the event.
