Andrew Casson

I moved with my parents and siblings from the coast to Spallumcheen in 2004, and I have been blessed to call this valley home ever since. I started out working in landscaping and construction before spending 16 years as a TELUS technician. In 2023, I began working with a local farm as part of its leadership team, supporting IT and operations.

My wife Merissa is from Calgary, and is a piano teacher and photographer. We were married in 2016 and have four children, ages 9, 6, 4 and almost 2. We both come from large families, attend Emmanuel Baptist Church, enjoy going for walks as a family and working on fixing up our old house in our spare time.

My approach to council is pretty straightforward: do what allows individuals and families who live and work in our community to flourish. I do this by championing limited government, traditional values and fiscal responsibility using common sense. I have been honoured to serve the people of Spallumcheen on council since 2008, and I am humbly asking for your support again. I will continue working to keep the Township of Spallumcheen true to our roots: a farming, business and family-friendly place.
