I was born and raised in the Armstrong-Spallumcheen area and have lived here for most of my life. Community involvement has always been important to me.
For the past 21 years, I have served with the Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Department, where teamwork and working together to get the job done are essential. I have also volunteered with the Armstrong Kin Club and, with my brother, brought back the Armstrong Demolition Derby in 2013.
If elected, my priorities include maintaining and improving our infrastructure while considering the impact on taxpayers, supporting affordability, and exploring appropriate options for more housing while ensuring our water and sewer systems can support growth.
I know serving on Council will require considerable work and learning, and I am prepared to make that commitment. I welcome conversations with community members about their concerns, ideas and hopes for Armstrong.
