My family and I moved to this area in 1992 from the Lower Mainland. My career spanning over 50 years focused on working to build community capacity and to support vulnerable young people in building the framework needed to have a strong base on which they build their future. My last 40 years have been in senior leadership roles. I am a father, grandfather, musician, actor, woodworker and a master of bad dad jokes.
In Armstrong I have served as a School Trustee on the last School Board, the Parent Advisory Councils at both the Elementary and High School. I have been part of Asparagus Community Theatre for over 25 years, serving as President, grant writer, actor, director and sound designer. I was on the Age Friendly Committee by the City of Armstrong and drafted the terms of reference for the Armstrong Social Planning and Development Committee approved by the City Council in 2021.
