Councillor City of Armstrong

Neil Todd

Born in Victoria in 1960, Neil Todd has a life long connection to the beautiful North Okanagan, “My Grandparents homesteaded in Lavington around 1915, my parents met during WW2 at the Vernon Army Camp. I first lived in Armstrong in 1978, making many lifelong friendships. I have lived all over the country and my travels have taken me to many beautiful places, but I believe Armstrong is the best place to live.”

Todd has enjoyed a career of 45+ years in the restaurant industry. He is experienced at running a successful business as owner operator of Armstrong’s much loved and iconic Brown Derby Café for 23 years. He and his lovely wife Carolyn closed the restaurant in 2022. Todd believes his experience in the service industry has served him well in his first term. “I feel my particular skill set, after being in the industry that rewards great teamwork has made me a more productive council member.”

If re-elected, Todd will continue to pursue initiatives to make the community safe, health and vibrant. “This is the time to look forward, embrace the potential this great community has. We have a bright and prosperous future ahead. I am proud to have this opportunity to represent my fellow citizens on council.”
