Councillor City of Armstrong

Dale Bradley

Common sense matters!

Dale Bradley brings 37 years of experience with TELUS in major project planning and management. His work included projects involving 911 services, hospitals, firehalls, hotels, government, the Department of National Defence, banks, city halls and manufacturing. He later spent five years in private consulting and has completed an accounting course. He is now retired.

Dale’s community involvement has included serving on a city planning commission in Campbell River, participating in a community action group, coaching hockey and curling, serving as a curling club president and volunteering as a firefighter. He is also a Legion member and has served as a golf club captain. Since moving to Armstrong in 2018, he has continued curling and golfing and serves as a strata vice-president.

Dale says he will listen, follow up and bring common sense to Council. His priorities include:

  • Providing oversight as the City carries out its 15-year capital plan, with consultation and less disruption for neighbourhoods and businesses.
  • Making it easier and less costly for businesses to build or rebuild in older parts of town.
  • Continuing FireSmart work with the Fire Department and the City, including attention to hydrant placement.
  • Paving the parking areas serving Hassen Arena, the IPE and the Curling Club.
