I’m Mike Babott. My wife and I moved to Armstrong in 2017, where I started Rhythm Productions. I joined the Chamber in 2018, and through it I’ve met many of the local businesses and organizations in town. I film a lot of our local events, like Light Up, Pumpkin Fest, and Canada Day, and since joining I’ve also helped organize, set up, and take down those same events.

This past year, business owners and residents asked me to run for council, and what I kept hearing is that they don’t feel heard at City Hall and don’t know what’s going on. So I did my homework, sat in on council meetings, and made sure it was right for both me and the City. I’m running on two key topics: a voice for businesses and residents at City Hall, and communication people can plan around. I’m here to support local.
