My name is Andy Werner and I have called Armstrong or Spallumcheen home my entire life having been born and raised here. I graduated from PVSS in 1990 and I’ve worked at the same place for almost 40 years showing my dedication.
I’ve been elected to executive roles in not only the Armstrong Legion but also the Armstrong Kin club for the last few years. I am the current Vice president of the Kin club and believe in a strong committee working towards common goals of giving back to our community.
I am running for council because I feel there is a real disconnect with what the taxpayers want and what is being done in our town. Governments have gotten real comfortable raising taxes every year and many of our residents are on fixed incomes. Grant money is being foolishly spent. Communication needs to be better.
